Bitcoin mining firm Cleanspark recently announced the purchase of 20,000 Antminer S19j Pro+ machines for a total sum of $43.6 million after using discount coupons which brought the price down to $32.3 million. The new purchase will add 2.44 EH/s to Cleanspark’s existing 6.6 EH/s of computing power when they become fully functional by the end of this month. Additionally, the company is also set to install 15,000 ASIC miners at its Washington, Georgia facility in order to improve agility and reliability for their operations as well as take advantage of the recent rise in bitcoin prices in 2023 since crypto winter had a major negative impact on bitcoin miners last year..
